the compass rewiew is on the left side of the binocular is making the hazy image....

I bought these for triangulating my position on charts while sailing. I was a little worried that the internal compass would be hard to read as my 40+ year old eyes need reading glasses to read newspapers, computer screens etcetera. I have had no problem whatsoever. The compass is large and easy to read. The compass has an internal light which is a great added feature. I don't know how it could be better. One of our sailing sons said it was the best he's used. I wish I could say something technical and impressive but can only be anecdotal. My Commander, USNR, Rtd. husband was delighted with this birthday present. The price was pretty good, too.
