I am a Great fan of Sam Cooke. The selection of songs is good and varied.
Many of the songs evoke years past in a comforting and playful way. I would of liked more of his Gospel music but I will find another selection in CD form.

This is a great cd to own.I loved all the songs. Sam Cooke has a great voice and he was one of the greatlegendary singer of his time. His voice captivate you and his storytelling is wonderful through out most of the songs. I love his voice and I have not heard anyone that came close to duplicating his voice. He is great songwriter as well. The songs are very romantic. I just love to listen to his voice. "A change is gonna come" is so realistic and heartfelt song. Loved it! It had all of the great songs on there, and is well worth the money. Actually, it's probably not enough money that I paid for the large, inclusive collection of hits by Sam Cooke! This CD is wonderful. I highly recommend it for anyone who is a huge Sam Cooke fan. All original songs. Great sound quality. Includes all of the hits - and not just a few hits and a lot of other stuff that was never a hit. Very good collection. Whoever put this together did a great job.
