Rating: - Very solid SATA rack
I originally had six 500MB SATA drives bolted directly into the metal drive mounts in my home server. Over a 10 month period I had 3 drives go bad and RMAed back followed by a double disk failure (raid-5). Fortunately I was able to recover. I replaced all that with the SUPERMICRO SATA rack and 5 server class 1 TB drives running raid-6. The rack is extremely easy to install and keeps the drives at a constant 31C. I didn't have to make any modifications to install in a non-SUPERMICRO tower.
