I am a U.S. Marine and as such we spend a great deal of time training in the field and still must maintain a good clean shave every morning. Razors are great and certainly something I prefer above any electric razor battery and/or rechargeable alike. The drawback to razor blades is out in the field we don't always have the opportunity to shave using the comforts of running water from home and more importantly were usually short on time. Rating: - Panasonic Travel Shaver
This is an excellent travel shaver that functions almost well enough to be used every day (except that batteries can be expensive). I have found that a pair of Duracell 123 batteries last about 2 years (probably 35 shaves). An additional benefit is that the head and blades are interchangeable with my home shaver. Outstanding product if you like electric shavers.

Very nice shaver! Highly recommend! Portable, compact, easy to use. The best part is that you can clean it in a snap by just running water and adding a liquid soap. It cleans itself.
My son gave me the first one a while ago. I bought a second for my toiletries kit and a third as a gift.

I had this shaver for about 5 years and i never have any problem with it. When i got it from amazon it was $50 with shipping,and i didnt know it's not a rechargetable shaver until i receive it. I was little upset at the time coz i think it's gona waste my time and money for buying those expensive battery (CR123) two for $8 dollars in super market.However after i use it i feel i only change the battery once a year,which the battery last very long i cant even believe it.Normally I use it for about 30 ... This is a good shaver. Coming out of a rechargeable lower end Braun, I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the Panasonic. I do wish that it was more clearly stated that this is NOT a rechargeable though. Especially as it takes Lithium batteries that are a bit pricey. Now I REALLY limit the usage to every once in a while.
