Description: Each generation creates tales of horror...Stories that seep through to the very heart of our collective fears... The legendary Hammer Studios is recognized as the high-water mark of the gothic macabre, spinning some of the most suspenseful and chilling horror films of all time, including Curse of Frankenstein, Dracula - Prince of Darkness, and Curse of the Werewolf. Hammer gave the world icons of horror with tales that seduced their way into our darkest spaces and our deepest nightmares. In 1980, Hammer took over the old Hampden Manor House in the heartland of England and produced a series of 13 short horror stories for television. With a host of Hammer regulars including Peter Cushing (Star Wars) and Denholm Elliot (Raiders of the Lost Ark), along with emerging newcomers such as Pierce Brosnan (Goldeneye), each episode provides a completely new and individual tale of terror and suspense. Now, A&E Home Video presents the complete run of Hammer House Of Horror--every episode ever made- -in this special collector’s set for the very first time. Volume 1: Witching Time/The Thirteenth Reunion Volume 2: Rude Awakening/Growing Pains Volume 3: The House That Bled To Death/Charlie Boy Volume 4: The Silent Scream/Children Of The Full Moon Volume 5: Carpathian Eagle/Guardian Of The Abyss Volume 6: Visitor From The Grave/The Two Faces Of Evil/The Mark Of Satan

Anyway, a few episodes were repeated around 5 years later, must have been around 1985 and I managed to watch some of them in whole. The one I remember vividly was Witching Time. The thing that I liked about these short films was they were set in England which was ... Read More
