I love this movie! It is cheesy and inappropriate in the best of ways. Total B movie. Nudity, drug use, exploding mannequins, pimp stereotypes and lots of [...]. But if you can handle that, and would like to see a mad scientist-esque character piecing together a new body out of hookers for his recently deceased fiance then this movie is well worth watching!!! The ending is fabulous as well as fabulously unexpected! I love this movie and I love my friend for introducing me to it. :)
Rating:  - There is "camp" and there is just plain boringly bad.
This one comes under the second heading. After reading all the great reviews I ordered FRANKENHOOKER. I wish I hadn't. We did the "all sit down and have popcorn while enjoying a funny movie" sort of thing and it was a total bust -- even though the popcorn was good.
Let's ignore the fact the case the movie was in wasn't in very good shape. That isn't the fault of the film. My problem was, even thought I've been a fan of bad movies for years, they have to have some substance underneath ... Read More

Bill Murray says its the best movie of 1990 on the cover and I agree. Jeffrey Franken(James Lorniz the Andrew McCarthy look-alike) a hack medical student and failing inventor has a job as a garbage man.
