PAL format - not NTSC. However, they do correctly show the DVD as Region 2. This DVD will not play on most US DVD players. There is an inexpensive Cyberhome DVD player that I bought to play DVDs from other regions that you could set to play any region.
Aside from that, this DVD is part of a fantastic 21-disc box set from Europe. It's unfortunate that someone is still sitting on the rights to release the great Hal Roach shorts in the US in any sort of comprehensive package.
