I am new to DVD A and DTS. I have a brand new acura with a 10 speaker system that is capable to play both. My first DTS cd and I love it. I did notice that with DTS, it sounds best with the volume up. Clarity is impressive as much as any DVD audio CDs that I own. Dont get me wrong...DVD audios sound great but not all. I have a regular police CD and I can honestly say that there is a big difference between the two. Again, my first DTS CD and it doesn't disappoint.

If you like the Police then this is a great album. A super fan would have each and every CD by them but if you just enjoy most of their hits then this is your product. Not only does it have all their popular songs but the sound quality on this disk is just great. You really can not go wrong with all the songs by the Police you want and with great song quality. Highly recommended to anyone that enjoys the Police.

Altough PS3 is capable of decoding many very formats including DTS HD / Master and able to send DVD-A smoothly to my high end AV receiver, i was unable to get any meaningful sound out of this DVD-A (as amazon puts it).
So any one hoping to play this "CD" would better not buy it.

I bought this version of the Police's Every Breath You Take under the impression that I was buying a DVD Audio disc with 24bit/96kHz sampling rate. Unfortunately, Amazon.com has incorrectly labeled this item seeing as the disc is a DTS surround audio CD with 20bit/48kHz NOT a DVD audio disc. Essentially this is the same audio quality that would be provided by a DTS soundtrack from a DVD video disc.

I wish amazon would learn to properly distinguish the difference between a dvd audio disc and a dts cd. This is a dts cd, not a dvd audio disc. The surround mix on this CD is terrible. I prefer the original versions. Sadly they do not include a stereo version on this disc.
