Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
Not nearly as good as the original French comedy, Three Men and a Cradle, upon which this is based, Three Men and a Baby nevertheless is decent brain candy directed with some crackle by Leonard Nimoy. Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson star as three swinging bachelor roommates who find a baby girl on their doorstep--the daughter of Danson's character (who doesn't know about her) by a woman (Nancy Travis) with whom he had a brief fling. The jokes about dirty diapers and feeding schedules are predictable, but the film gains real warmth from Selleck, who does a convincing job playing a fellow whose life is changed for the better by added responsibility. A distracting subplot involving some bad guys threatens to derail everything, and the ending is a bit unconvincing as filmed, but the virtues of this movie finally win out over its weaknesses. --Tom Keogh

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - I hate this movie
Yes, it's a comedy, but it's just not funny watching 3 men act like silly fratboys with a baby.
First of all, it's irresponsible. It drives me crazy how not only does the mother not know who the father is, but the rest of the men don't remember sleeping with this woman.
That is just so irresponsible and annoying. Especially considering the day and age this movie was set in.
Yes, I am being too serious about a movie. I know, but it's still an extremely silly and aggravating film ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - was that a ghost?
i do like this movie but not as much as 3 men and a little lady. the only cool thing is there might be a ghost in this movie. which they have said that it is a cut out of ted dancen, but can you explained the gun standing there? watch the movie more closer. it when ted dancen calls his mom to come over and watch the baby. just ted dancen cut out or a real ghost? you be the judge.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Three Men and a Baby
Fun and funny movie. Great acting, great story and plot. This movie never slumps or slows down. It is exciting from beginning to end. Perfect casting resulting in great comedic chemistry!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Three Men and a Baby
While it is an 80's film, it's innocent! Not one foul word (unless doo doo is offensive to you), no obscene footage (perhaps a baby's bottom is too much for you to handle?), no cars exploding (just a horse with an overweight cop on him). It's just cute clean fun! Dated? yeah...but....so WHAT? Enjoy! I do :)

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - how about two stars and a negative review
Three Men and a Baby is the kind of comedy film that did NOT date well at all. All those cheesy and dated effects used in the late 80's will probably take you back to those memorable years of your life when watching the movie, but unfortunately Three Men and a Baby will probably only remind you what the decade was like actually putting up with this style of comedy as popular entertainment at the time. It's not funny, it's somewhat annoying, severely dated, and it's just the kind of DVD you should ... Read More
