Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Jewel
This movie was made for TV. It is better than 98% of the regular releases that are shown in theaters. Neat plot, great acting. There are few movies I can watch more that once and I have watched this several times. William H. Macy is great and his comedic timing is wonderful in this movie.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Fun Movie!
I'm surprised how few "5-Star" ratings this movie has. It's terrific. Sort of a dark humor murder mystery. It's extremely funny in parts, and full of surprises. William H. Macy steals the show, frequently making asides to us - the audience - about his next idea, and how this isn't going as he'd planned, etc.

Terrific film. If nothing else, rent this on NetFlix or something. You won't be disappointed.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 'Slight Case of Murder' sets the scene for major enjoyment
Loved this darkly humorous take of a self-involved critic who gets caught up in murder and all of its resulting mayhem.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ok
its an okay movie bill macy and felicty huffman was really good as far as the acting goes but the movie was kinda just boring itself..
but its worth watching though.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Brilliant!
I love these sleeper films. Subtle performances from a solid cast, A Slight Case of Murder is a classy, light-hearted who-done-it with a satisfying conclusion.
