i have had this system before ,, nothing, i mean nothing, was as bright or lasted longer than this rechargable mag. no more batteries,, ever.

My husband and I bought our first maglite almost two years ago, and its still working like its new. He uses it nightly at work. He can get about a weeks to two weeks usuage out of it before he has to charge it. We bought the second for home use because we got tired of buying batteries for the small maglites you get from wal-mart. We love our new rechargable as much as the old one. i got one of the mag charger lites bout 7 years ago from a friend and its been the best lite ever ive used it coon huntin and on the job as a security guard in a very active junk yard finally the switch went out and i just reordered me a new one anyway if u work in a bad place night shift the magchargers what u want .

This is an excellent product. I have carried one unit in my motor home for many years. The batteries are rechargeable and last a long time and can be replaced. Most recently I purchased a complete new unit. The charger on the old unit quit, so I purchased a new charger and a new battery and now I have a second unit in my garage. I is always ready to be used and it is an excellent product.
