Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
Appearing as an ordinary Japanese schoolgirl, this interplanetary Nancy Drew and her sleuthing galfriends save the day in both 20-minute episodes of the WB television series. In 'Cruise Blues,' Serena (earthly alter ego of Sailor Moon) disguises herself as a photographer to crash a sweethearts' cruise attended stag by two other sailor scouts and a host of lovebirds. When evil soldiers from the Negaverse sap the 'love energy' from the couples, only the dateless trio is left standing to fight for the forces of good. The low-life Neflite takes possession of a photographer in 'Shutter Bugged,' and zaps supermodel wannabes with his camera. In a jiffy, model-hopeful Serena changes from her swimsuit to her go-go-booted, mini-skirted Sailor Moon outfit and vanquishes the villains. Both episodes are followed by 'Sailor Says,' a politically correct message for girls delivered à la Jerry Springer: 'Don't settle for a guy who doesn't treat you right' and 'Beauty is on the inside.' Girls 6 and up will watch for the fantasy and the action, but probably not for life lessons. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - What can I say...
What can I say... other then that it is 2008, I am in my mid 20's and I still love everything about Sailor Moon. If you enjoyed watching Sailor Moon in the mornings... early 90's, then you will enjoy all the Edited VHS videos.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great video!
this is one of the best sailor moon videos i have seen yet. naoko takeuchi did a wonderful job!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Gotta' Love the Bathing Suit!
When I was on vacation over the summer, I stumbled apon a store and saw in a video rack "Evil Eyes". As big a Sailor Moon fan I was, I baught it (plus it was CHEAP!- in price!). When I got back, I watched it, and it was very enjoyable. Good for a laugh, that's for sure. Sure it doesn't have ground breaking episodes like "Day Of Destiny" (which I though sucked)or "Finnal Battle" (oops, that's in R). But these episodes are enjoyable, like in the first episode, "Cruise Blues", when Raye gets two tickets ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Evil Eyes?? No!!
I've been a Sailor Moon fan for a few years now, as with me being an anime fan for a few years now, and Evil Eyes was really impressive! I certainly enjoyed Nephrite (Neflyte as he is known here in North America). For an anime character, he's cute!! Thumbs up to Bishujo Senshi Sailor Moon!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - not exactly ground-breaking episodes
WHO does the covers for these tapes? I could draw better than most of these. The cover shows Sailor Mars, with Wiseman/Doom Phantom in the background. What in the WORLD is Wiseman doing on the cover of 2 episodes taken from the first season? Sheesh. Anyway, if you are looking for episodes with tongue-biting action, shocking revelations about the past in the Silver Millenium, new characters (youma don't count) or misty-eye moments... You definately have the wrong tape. Don't get me wrong, these ... Read More
