"Are You Being Served?" is a British situation-comedy, focusing on the staff at an upscale department store, in the clothing department. The humor is quite different from the humor of American comedies, but is plentiful. This tape has three episodes, all centering on Mrs. Slocombe.

Rating:  - More humor from the staff
Are You Being Served? is the story of the staff of the Ladies' and Gentlemen's Wear departments in Grace Brother's department store. While customer's come and go, the staff fights each other and their incompetent superiors with laughs all around. The stories are hilarious and are generally clean, though a running gag involves one lady's constant frettings about her pussy (cat). Rating: - A particular type of comedy
Fans of 60s/70s British comedy of the risque, non-politically correct, "nudge nudge wink wink" variety will enjoy this and all other episodes of this series. As such, it is an excellent example of the genre, but if you don't like the genre, it is probably not a good place to start.

Are you being served is one of the best comedies i've ever seen on either side of the ocean....john inman is the greatest....you should get this tape...and others too.........you'll love it !
