Rating: - The World in His Arms
This movie of Gregory Peck's is, in my opinion, one of his best. Full of action. Great. But, where can it be found in DVD?
Rating: - Tall Ships in Action...
Yeah, OK. It's not the best movie Gregory Peck has done, but if you like him, you need to own this one. It has humor and action, Peck role is a wonderful romantic scoundrel and Anthony Quinn plays a down and dirty pirate but the greatest scene is the race between Quinn's and Peck's ship. If you love sea stories added with some scenes of early Alaska, then it is worth seeing this one. I need it to come out in DVD!
Rating: - A film for its time
Viewing "A World in his Arms" requires that we remember the time frame of its production. It is a swashbuckling story worthy of viewing. The acting is also suited for the purpose of the film--to entertain and engage a viewer in the hopeful success of a common man in gaining an aristocratic woman--a great American story about class and worthiness.
