I'm a fan of any disaster movie and this one even though a touch predictable at times presents a believable story. Fast shipment too!



Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good movie worth seeing 10 years later
Considering what happened to New Orleans after Katrina in 2005, this movie seems even more up to date. It shows the world 10 years in our future (2017) where global warming is taking her toll. The sad part is that most of what the movie portrays has come true. Fires rampant on the west coast and a hurricane devastated Louisiana. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not Enough Disaster, Too Much Melodrama
I'm not sure if I should even give this movie 3 stars. See, my favorite type of film is a disaster movie and this movie couldn't really be called that. It's got too many silly sub-plots.

I guess the movie just spent too much time talking and not enough of it had anything to do with the disasters at hand. I don't mind talking in a movie if it has something to do with what the movie is supposed to be about, but this had too many boring parts and I kept wishing they would have shown more ...
