Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - You can't go wrong with this classic!
Okay, so call me cheesy--but Bob Hope's gags STILL crack me up! This movie is just '40s perfect. All the actors are superb and this movie just makes me ache for the 40s when life seemed so simple ... and so SCARY!!!! The haunted castle on a haunted aisle ... way good fun! Although the "zombie" guy was never really "explained" but who cares. This movie has laughs, scares, a charming main character and a gorgeous damsel in distress! How can you give it less than 5 stars???

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Ghoastbreakers
A light comedy and classic Bob Hope. A nice peek into the past i.e. the 1940's.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Hope in his prime and Goddard in her underthings.
Paulette Goddard was a knockout. Her beauty is not something you can appreciate in passing. It's something you savor.

Bob Hope is in his prime here and has his magic going.

There are a few spots of race humor. Unfortunate, but not enough to ruin a funny movie.

You get to see Paulette Goddard in underwear and high heels.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Better than Ghostbusters?
It isn't better than Ghostbusters, but it is FUNNY! It isn't politically correct for today, but it is classic comedy with the talent of Bob Hope.
