Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
She's a lawyer. He's a cop. Some former KGB-types with a wide variety of slippery accents and enough sophisticated technological surveillance gadgets to make one wonder how the Soviet Union could have possibly failed, want her dead. The cop (William Baldwin) is the only man who can save her. It helps that the high-powered attorney is played by Cindy Crawford, who gives new meaning to the phrase 'habeas corpus.' So the plot doesn't make any sense: First they try to kill her, no questions asked. Then they capture her and spill their guts about all the details of their nefarious plan. But logic is not what Fair Game is about. It's about explosions, car crashes, and more explosions. The only pauses in the action are for showers (one for Baldwin, two for Crawford) and a change of clothing (Crawford slips out of a tight T-shirt into an even tighter tank top). The best feature of the DVD is the addition of a Gallic track. With very little actual sex in the movie, having the main characters conversing in French definitely adds some sauciness to the dialogue scenes. --Richard Natale

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Fair Game DVD
The movie itself is what I expected. What I didn't expect was that the movie is only available in full screen. There is no widescreen for this movie. I did not know this going into the purchase.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - stop and shop
i have been known to like what some people consider to be bad movies, and this movie is not exactly casablanca, but i have to say i watch it alot, and i like it. I personally think the scene where he calls the store is hysterical. I would tell other people to watch it, but it is not for all.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Better than I expected after reading the reviews
Lots of explosions, a dodgy plot, plenty of electronic gadgets which required a certain amount of blind faith to believe in and a bit of sex (lovely!!!) albeit at an inappropriate moment and interrupted before consumation by the KGB (I hate them). The acting was passable except for that of the KGB which was pretty pathetic but all in all, it wasn't as bad as it was painted. I shall watch it again one day now I have bought it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - AWFUL!!!!
I was extremely bored one day and happened to find this DVD lying around. From the opening scene, (was that a bullet, piece of glass, firecracker? she should have just been mugged or something. some better excuse to get her to the police station) I knew I was going to have to endure some low-class acting and that was exactly what it turned out to be. Crawford could have been more believable as a porn star than as a lawyer in the movie. She overacted...or is underacted...and leaves me wondering how ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Just No Brainer Action
Critics slam this because they try to compare it to "Witness", "The Client" or some other movie with better actors and a more plausible storyline. Personally I think Baldwin and Crawford have a chemistry and it and the screenplay works. Just go into it without any preconceptions and you will probably find it a decent action movie. Fair acting, great special effects, and good music make this worth checking out.

When a civil lawyer played by Crawford demands her client get a ship in international ... Read More
