Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Joy to watch
Always remembered this movie. What a gem, what a joy to watch. This is one of the best romance movies to date. Falls in the same category as Madam X with Lana Turner. Please bring it out on DVD. Highly recommended for the romantic at hart.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - *****Fantastic Movie! True Romance at its Very Best!
I saw this movie last week for the first time since it first came out. Still as emotionally powerful. Stephen Collins-of course-went on to become a major television star for over ten years. Kathleen Quinlan is stunningly beautiful. Of course, when the movie starts(before the car accident) she is a loving ugly duckling-that's what makes the movie. Larry Luckinbill and Beatrice Straight also give incredible supporting performances.

This movie moves-and moves fast, from one transition to another.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Nothing like the book
This movie was horrible! It had none of the passion that the book held. After reading the book I couldn't wait to see this movie and was very disappointed. They really should do a remake of this movie since this one stunk!

This is a low budget, unknown stars (at the time), movie with such a great story that nothing else matters. For years, I've been furious with Leonard Maltin for the scathing review his staff wrote for this priceless film. I truly believe that none of them actually watched the movie. What a thrill it is to find out now that there are so many other people out there who feel as we do. After ... Read More
