Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - as beautiful as a poem
fascinating french movie. not overly sentimental and romantic, but at times erotic and lustful. a quiet, slow burning desire. when life was fulfilled and so satisfying, you might just want to end it right there. a movie clicked a core of your soul and would keep vibrating for the rest of your life.
glamorously beautiful hairdresser, a serene, warm, ravishing and passionate woman played so just-right by an excellent actress. the husband role was a bit too old but also a mature, likable and even ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Some time ago
I can remember preparing to watch this movie for the second or third time. It was late and my family was sound asleep. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Taste of Life - Happiness and Sadness
This film breaks my heart, not only due to the sadness of its story, but also because of the beautiful story telling. This movie makes me more aware of the precious moment of life - the moment that will never come back to us. Life is very short as though it is a blink or two, and I easily forget it, but the film reminds me of it so I can utilize my time efficiently as time does not go backward even though it sometimes seems that way.
