I purchased this movie for my girlfriend. She talked about a movie that her mother and she use to watch before her mother passed away. Finally she remembered the name of it so i searched it online and the first one i found i purchased. She says that she loves the movie because Gertie reminds her of her mother.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent movie
This is a really good movie, made from a book written by someone who actually lived the life portrayed. Very good movie!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Dollmaker
An outstanding film that should be made available on DVD. Jane Fonda portrays realistically a woman of her time. The lessons taught in this movie are numerous and important.

I highly recommend it be re-issued on DVD.
