Description:
In this 1977 made-for-TV movie, Tom Sellack is a cop who's been working for the 'Bunco' squad. These are the cops that are responsible for catching con men, cheats, grifters, and swindlers. Although most of their investigations revolve around petty thugs, a pattern is emerging. A larger con is in the works.

This artless effort was produced for television as a pilot film for a projected series that was not selected by its network as it was believed that the co-stars lacked that charisma required to maintain audience interest, a judgemental miscue because the leads, Robert Urich and Tom Selleck, directly after became very accomplished in that medium.
