Description:
Millionaire playboy Jerry Lewis is rejected for WWII military service, but forms his own hysterical guerilla band of other '4F''s to wage their own small-scale war against the enemy. The army doesn't want him but that doesn't stop Jerry!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This way to the fun!
It is to be lamented that Herr Lewis did not keep up the pace of fun in the 1970's. He tried the dramatic route with The Day the Clown Cried which none of us in the audience has seen yet..........perhaps someday. Jerry Lewis should have tried a slapstick version of remembrance of Things Past by Proust.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This one deserves to be on DVD!!!
I wish Warner Home Video will put this on DVD real soon! This Jerry Lewis gem from 1970 is funny from start to finish. Lewis and a group of armed force rejects set out to get Hitler in this film with a blast of a finish! It got off slow but slowly improved towards the middle of the film. I enjoyed it. Sure wish this will be on DVD!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Jerry's last great comedy film
This movie has been making me laugh since I first saw it on TV in the mid 1970s. Jerry and his band of 4-F rejects put together a commando squad. They go behind enemy lines in an attempt to replace a German Field Marshal in this wild WWII romp. There are so many hysterical gags, it's impossible to single out one or two for review. Cameos by Joe Besser, Paul Winchell, and George Takei. Lots more familiar faces and voices from the 1960s. Fantastic chemistry between Jerry Lewis and Jan Murray. A little ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - FUNNY STUFF!
Jerry Lewis at his best, or close to his best. The German impersonation is hilarious. Watch for Jerry's driver, "Linc" who is really former L.A. Dodgers all-star centerfielder "Willie Davis", who plays a german sergeant in a lot of the movie, if you didn't know Willie Davis is black, and I can't remember too many black German Sergeants in WWII, but makes for some funny hijinks!

This movie really rocks!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - hilarious
Although my father and I rarely agree on movies and what we like to watch, this movie has given us years of laugh out loud enjoyment and memories. Every time anyone mentions Jerry Lewis he starts repeating lines from this classic movie and we laugh all over again. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Jerry's work. I am so glad it is finally available on video.
