This a biography of one of the original founder of the Civil Rights movement. W.E.B. Du Bois(William Edward Burghardt). He was born in Massachusetts in 1868. He grew up with his mother and brother. His father had left when he was quite young. It was soon found out how smart and intelligent he was that he eventually skipped a grade.
