I am very excited to find this great trilogy on DVD from Russian Film Prestige company. Unfortunately, it has only Russian and German subtitles and no English subtitles. Since I know Russian, I have no problem with this. Another great movies with Romy Shneider playing Sissy again, is Visconti's "Ludwig". Again, it's available on DVD from Film Prestige in a wonderful 255 minutes full edition. I only wish these great movies would be available on DVD with English subtitles so that English speaking movie ... Read More

I have this 3 set in the original German language which I saw as a child in Germany. It is still well received by all ages when it comes on TV.

Ever since the first time I watched this movie I fell in love with it. Of course I saw the original three part series with subtitles. I have been searching for it everywhere and I finally decided to buy "Forever My Love". This movie, though shortened, still has charm but cannot compare to the original version. I have finally found where they sell it for those who are interested. You have to read the subtitles but I find that Romy's original voice and enthusiam cannot be replaced. I LOVE this movie! It's the ultimate chick flick and I'm so glad I finally found it in English. This movie has everything a girl would want except for the uncut DVD set. America needs to get with the program as this is already a classic in Europe.
