Product Description:
This Canon Rebel was more responsible for introducing autofocus SLR photography to a wide public than any other Canon. It's small, lightweight, easy to operate, and perfect for amateurs. And, whatever model you own--or hope to purchase--this will help you understand how to take advantage of all your camera's features, from the information displays to focusing and metering to choosing an exposure. There are hints on composition, and coverage of lenses, filters, and other accessories.

Rating: - A little bit more than the factory manual
I didn't find it THAT usefull. Just a little bit better than the original manual.
The big differences aren't really as big as stated... and there's nothign that you can't find on the internet or in a basic photography book. For me it doesn't goo DEEPLY into the camera functions or give real life use samples.
Rating: - Beats the Manual!
Being new to the SLR-world, I bought this book because the owner's manual was horrible. I was absolutely clueless with the SLR lingo (aperture, shutter speed, f-stop, etc.)
Although this manual was a great help, I would still recommend the novice user to sign up for a course at the local community college or through the county, if such programs are available in their area. Rating: - Decent features at decent price
Good camera with excellent results during day time. Results in the evening or night time vary drastically. It definitely needs an additional flash light to repeat its good performance during the night time. Very light in weight compared to other competing models. Also in my exprience works very well with Kodak Gold 200. Its a good camera to have for the first timers with SLRs.
Rating: - Excellent book if you already own any Model Canon EOS
This book purports to aid in choosing and operating an EOS Rebel 2000 camera. Henninges and Snell explain each feature and function of the camera in exquisite detail. While this book is a boon to EOS owners it is of little or no help to someone still in the shopping stage.
Rating: - Useful manual
This is a great replacement for the original manual. It goes into much more detail than the original manual, and I was impressed with the one that came with the camera, as it was similarly well-written, and Canon seems to have taken more care in producing it than most manuals, as if they really want you to learn the basic and technical features of the camera to make you a better photographer. I would recommend you read the original manual first, and then buy this book if you want more information. Read More
