This is a book for a person who wants to defend the belief of christianity to anyone without the use of scripture. It is an appeal to man's capability of reasoning comingled with faith. A resource material worth adding to one's collection
Rating: - Buy. This. Book.
If I could force every one of my students to read one book (absurd start to a sentence, I know) it would be this one. While many do not appreciate Kreeft's matter of fact (and at times sarcastic) tone, it is more conversational and so more accessible. However, the true meaning, the systematic defense or explanation of Christianity, is based not on deception (at least for those ... Read More
Rating: - A useful resource - truly.
Surrounded by Skeptics, Atheists and deluded Relativists, such a book provides a Christian with solid places upon which to submit a defense (apologetic) for many of life's crucial questions.
Kreeft honestly tackles the question of "Evil", eternal "Heaven or Hell", claims of "Christ's Divinity", 20 Arguments for "God's existence"...
You will find many well defined and logical "arguments" to support the Christian doctrines concerning these and other questions. Some Arguments feel ... Read More
