This and it's companion are the best English language guidebooks currently published to longer ski tours about the Alps. Remember, there are hundreds of other routes out there.
Rating: - Great overview of Western Alps Ski Routes
Obviously not all can be encompassed within a volume the size of this book, but with the addition of topo maps(and obviously all your hard gear, experience prep, and exercise), i can imagine very little else needed to travel extensively within the areas discribed. It covers routes from as far West as Le Meije, Chamonix, to Verbier,Monte Rosa and Saas Fee eastward. The other volume covers everything East and North of here.
