When couple first begin to deal with the agony of sexual addiction, it is very common to feel like they are all alone and no-one can possible understand the pain and the shame that they are now facing. I began Blankenship's self-published book filled with hope that this text would provide just that: hope. My husband and I have recently begun our journey of healing and restoration, and the content of S.A.R.A.H. seemed promising. The book begins well, with an uplifting chapter written largely by "guest author" Melissa Haas, the wife of a former sex addict.
