Zombies! Eclipse of the Undead is the latest Zombie Romp from IDW. The book dispenses with any overblown prologues about how the zombie plague started; pick one of the popular theories from any number of books or films and just ride with it! Whatever reason, the plague has already consumed Los Angeles and the survivors have taken refuge inside of the LA Coliseum under military supervision. As graphical depictions of a zombie holocaust goes, this one probably is the shortest I have read. The story, in brief, is of a group of refugees huddled inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum after things start to break down for the military. People are crushed together and many are irrational and violent, angry that the wealthy plus a good deal of children and some women have been evacuated but they are left behind with little food and a constant attack of zombies at the gates.
