Editorial Review:
Product Description: Works too hard, would never have written this ad, so we wrote it for her. Spunky redhead has head for business, eye for art, heart for God. An all-American beauty. Needs a good man!
When the nineteen-year-old twins who work at Bonny Fairley's fine craft gallery place a personal ad in the paper on her behalf, Bonny is mortified. A personal ad? She's not that desperate!
Then the ex-husband who'd abandoned her shows up in town vowing to win back her heart--and Bonny starts returning calls and making dates as if her life, not to mention her happiness, depended on it. What better way than finding herself a boyfriend to prove to Timothy that she's over him for good?
What she doesn't count on is a lovable mutt named Cleo and the busybody townfolk of Pilchuck, Washington--most of whom believe that Bonny really ought to give her ex a second chance. And after a string of hilarious, harrowing dates, Bonny herself begins to wonder.
When all is said and done--will it be all over for Timothy? Or all over for Bonny's heart?

Rating: - Second chance at love.
Bonny Fairley had been destroyed when her beloved husband, Timothy, decided his life in Pilchuck wasn't for him and neither was marriage. Bonny hasn't wanted a man since. Worried about their aunt-by-marriage, the Reilly twins take out a personal ad in the local paper. Bonny is not grateful until her ex-husband returns to win Bonny back. To keep her mind off Tim, Bonny decides to contact the men who respond to the ad.
Tim seems to expect Bonny to forgive him instantly for abandoning ... Read More
Rating: - A good book to cuddle up with!
If you want to cuddle up with a good book, this is a great one! Like Ms. Hicks other books, she writes in a way so you become involved in the characters lives instead of just being a bystander. You sympathize with Bonny's unwillingness to let Timothy back into her life because you can feel the pain she went through. Yet you know Timothy has really changed and deserves a second chance. I am grateful for clean, entertaining books like this one that leave you with a good feeling.
