Editorial Review:
Product Description: New edition, now with more cases! Instructors have valued the versatile and practical use of case studies to help students identify with important facets of the criminal justice experience. In the revised Fifth Edition, Human Relations and Police Work now offers an even broader collection of realistic and thought-provoking scenarios to stimulate student-centered learning. Fifty-six cases in all cover a wide range of police and law enforcement problems and allow students to express how they would cope with each situation by applying their own methods in conjunction with the abstract concepts they have been taught. In addition, the interactive nature of this well- priced casebook provides an excellent point of departure for creative thinking and lively classroom discussions and explorations.

Great book for law enforcement students. I used it for my Intro Police class. Very interesting and engaging. It shows examples of everyday law enforement cases/procedures where the student has to research and find the correct or better approach or solution for each demonstrated case.
