Rating: - Not as good as the first, but still amusing...
First, don't watch this movie until you have watched "Frog;" it will make no sense. This sequel is at times bizarre, and sometimes a little environmentally preachy, but still clever as a family film. I didn't see this movie until I was past 16, so it doesn't hold the fuzzy place in my heart that the first one did, but it does, in my opinion, round out the story line in a satisfying way. Occasionally Arlo's (the main character) inexplicable foray into preppiness is aggravating, but he eventually gets ... Read More
Rating: - A charming twist on a familiar tale
Unfortunately the two reviews already written have nothing to do with this funny and quirky movie that was a delight to watch with my kids. The story line was familiar but with enough twists to make it interesting. The scene in the biology lab is especially rib-tickling. Obviously not the horror flick (you can tell from the video cover photo).
Rating: - Wrong Movie -- Deceptive Title
From the title of the movie, and the comments of the reviewer from Dallas, Texas, on March 26, 1999, who obviously did not watch this particular movie, I believed this movie to be the quirky and entrancing 1970's horror film "Frogs!".
This review describes the horror film perfectly: It is so bad that it's good. Nature strikes back as a handful of people who are major disasters for the environment are harrassed and killed by endless waves of frogs, garter snakes, lizards, and even an ... Read More
Rating: - God awful, yet still a masterpiece
Hands down this is the wosrt movie ever! However, because of its complete lack of all components of a movie, it's a masterpiece of bad film. I highly recommend buying this movie because, it is just hilarious! It is so terrible, regardless of your comedic tastes, you will die of laughter. Horrific slayings from woodland creatures create an environment of total hilarity! This movie is truly a gem!
