As with all the Wishbone series Wishbone: Dog Days of the West is a great family video. My children always ask to check it out at the library. We've seen this movie several times and it doesn't get old.
The story line is interesting and it is not difficult for elementary age children to follow along even though it goes between modern times and the western.
And, of course, Wishbone is adorable. If your children like animals they will love this show.

Though my family loved the PBS series, I was a little dubious about the quality, content and pace of this "feature length" movie, but it's actually funnier and more engaging than any of it's 30 minute counterparts. Wishbone is what one might call a amazing dog.Has more adventures than one can count playing a variety of people.It really cute to see him put a hat or shirt or pants and play Hercales,Sherlock Homes,Frankenstien,and all sorts you would think would be very akward on four legs.And did I forget?
