Patricia Treece delineates early on the difference between ghost sightings and the apparition of saints.
Without slipping into sloppy new-agey goo, Treece explains how your passed-on relatives might be saints and how they may be assisting you throughout your life.
Unless you work in the Vatican and are privy to contemporary apparition archives, the thrilling details about human interaction with saints in modern times will surprise you.

Fascinating book. she does a great job of giving background and helpful information in the introduction regarding the difference between ghosts, demons, various spiritual phenomena. the Chapters themselves give live accounts of apparitions of various saints throughout this past 100 years. all accounts are well documented and researched. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking at trying to understand apparitions and appearances of the spiritual.

The title is misleading and it's a shame because this is a jewel of a book loaded with documentation and stories you won't find elsewhere. She did her homework.
I was amazed that the Catholic church had kept such precise documentation the past 2000 years. Picky picky picky. It was not confined to their records but they've kept the lion's share.

Many Christians find themselves doubting just when they least want to, i.e. during tragic times. Nothing could help you more than reading about these authenticated researched apparitions of the saints to those on earth.
