Rating: - Just like all other diet books...
This isn't a revolutionary diet book. It could have been a lot better but it tries to pad the information to make it seem more important and to fill the book. My main complaint is that ALL DIET BOOKS SHOULD HAVE A SHOPPING LIST and this one doesn't. Otherwise you have to flip back and forth from the recipes to the menu plan to make a list. Besides that, this is just a "eat less fat and red meat and exercise" book.
Rating: - Everyone should eat like this
If everyone followed the advice in this book, we would all be much healthier and health care costs would decrease dramatically. Rating: - Easy and Healthy
I have purchased many diet books in the past, but Diet For A Pain Free Life is the one that I choose to follow from here on. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, and just happened to see this book on the shelf while looking for another book. The recipes are easy and very good. I lost 6 lbs the first week I followed this diet. It is nutritionally superior to any other plan I have seen, with good tips on stretching and exercise also
Rating: - excellent book
I am about 35 pounds overweight and have struggled with joint pain for the past 5 years. I have tried everything since Celebrex was taken off the market and after being recommended this book by my sister, I can honestly say I finally found something that works! I have been on the diet for about 2 months and have lost 15 pounds already, which has done wonders for my pain- I don't have any! The recipes are also really good:)
