Product Description: The dead walk! Newspapers everywhere proclaim the dead have returned to feast on the living. A small group of survivors hold up in a cellar, afraid to brave the masses of animated corpses, but when food runs out, they have no choice but to venture out into a world gone mad. What they will discover, however, is that the fall of civilization has brought out the worst in their fellow man. Cannibals, psychotic preachers and rapists are just some of the atrocities they must face. In a world turned upside down, it is life that has hit a Dead End.

Rating: - A fun zombie story
This is a classic zombie tale with much action and post apocalyptic survival. The author's writing style is easy to read, and I found it entertaining enough to read it to the end. Those things were its only saving grace and earned it a "loose" 3 stars. It's largely an unoriginal story - a stranded family you're supposed to like and a group of bullies you're supposed to hate. In many places the story and characters are difficult to believe. For example, there's is a 9 year old boy that acts ... Read More
Rating: - very good book
My husband just taught me how to leave reviews on Amazon so I want to start with this one.
I like a lot of action, science fiction and horror so my husband ordered this one because I liked the cover and the book summary. So when I read it, I liked it. All the characters felt real and I could relate to Paul and Josey because I'm about their age in the book. My son liked Adam as he is 18 years old, so anyone has someone to relate to. I just wanted to hug Timmy and keep him safe.

Rating: - damn good zombie book
I read this book a little more than a month ago but didn't bother with a review. After all I'm a busy person, like so many other people. But after seeing two negative reviews with absolutely no grounds for their opinions I thought I would add my opinion to the mix. I liked this book. Though the grammar errors were sometimes a minor distraction, overall I thought it was a fun read with everyday people we all know and like or dislike in our lives. And I have found out a little bit about the author ... Read More
Rating: - Truly A Dead End
I almost put the book down after reading the first page. Characters are 2D, not individuals in the slightest. All the tense moments fall flat, and overall the story is very predictable. Not to mention he managed to make classic mistakes that writers are taught not to do in any basic writing class.
The best part of the book was the short story they tossed in the back, not the title story. It was surprisingly very good, and I enjoyed it. Perhaps the author should stick to short stories.
Rating: - dont bother
this was the first and last i picked up for this series, its way too long for a book thats not very captivating, i found myself skimming through most of it. the main characters are boring and as uninteresting as the book and also seem to be alot dumber that the zombies. dont bother wasting your time on this one. no good cliffhangers. no good plot lines. theres just no good in this book.
