I like to read with my children (three girls ages 8, 11, and 14). They all enjoyed reading this book with me. It is a classic.

This book is a wonderful collection of stories that explain the origin of and all about Raggedy Ann & Andy. They are short enough to hold the attention of a 5 year old, in my experience. In fact we read at least 3 of them, one after another, at one sitting. She has always been fascinated by these dolls and this set of stories answers many questions, such as the reason for the heart on each doll's chest.

I have been collecting Raggedy Ann and Andy for the last 18 years and I have quite a collection of dolls. Last Christmas, my parents bought me a vintage christmas book of theirs and I absolutely fell in love with it. Hence, the reason I am buying this book. It is beautiful illustrated and emphasizes why i feel in love with them in the first place.

A wonderful companion to the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls. Having the dolls to hold while hearing the stories inspires my children's playtime. The stories are as sweet as Raggedy Ann's candy heart, and as timeless.
