Editorial Review:

Product Description:
A eclectic mix of inspired stories from best-selling authors William Maltese, Josh Lanyon, Sarah Black and Laura Baumbach. SCARED STIFF offers four very different tales of m/m ghostly doings that'll have readers panting (in more ways than one) under the covers. Maltese offers excitement and steamy pleasure in his Rendering Souls while Lanyon adds adventurous ghost hunters in his A Ghost of a Chance. Black gives you horrors from the past in Wild Onions, and Baumbach rounds out the volume with a hot tale of second chances in Soul Desire.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Hot (romance) and cold (chills)
This quartet of stories by 4 of the best in the field of M/M fiction is the perfect Halloween present for anyone who likes M/M romance on the steamy side, with some chills for those who like things that go bump (or maybe that should be hump) in the night.

It would be hard to pick a favorite here - there just aren't any losers. Laura Baumbach's Soul Desire gave me genuine goosebumps, especially that eerie kiss from the mist; Josh Lanyon's A Ghost of a Chance delivers a good old fashioned ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - The Good and The Bad.
The Good: Soul Desire by Laura Baumbach
The mystery was interesting and had an intriguing history behind it. The Romance didn't look forced and the first step toward it came from the guy I didn't expect, pretty hilarious.

Summary: Mason decides he needs to get away from his life when it seems he can't let go of his lover that died 2 years ago. Thinking some peace and quiet is in order to put his life back on the right track, he ends up at an old inn where he learns quickly that he ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - More, Josh, please!
Josh, you're a naughty boy! You kept me up until the late hours this week with your story, A GHOST OF A CHANCE. The story is great as is the interaction with the characters. I like the M/M scenes. Really hot. One question: In all of the characters you've created, which guy resembles you the most?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Waiting For More!
First off, I buy everything Laura writes, she has a wonderful way with words! It's such a pleasure to read her stories. The only thing that bothered me in this book, was all the type errors in her story-that was distracting. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5? I'll have to read a bit more of Maltese--his story confused me(I have not finished it yet). The rest of the book was great! AND it introduced me to a new author I had not heard of yet-Josh Lanyon. Since I bought this book, I've read all ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A deliciously scarry collaboration with hot sexy love.
This is a wonderfuly collaboration indeed. LouisaClark has given an excellent review on all 4 stories.
I enjoy Laura's story on one grieving man being haunted by a restless ghost in a manor on a cliff by the sea. Mason is such a vulnerable character and Eli is just the right hunk to lift him from the depth of despair. There are a few frightening moments as the spectre hovers near our hero in the bath and while he is sleeping. Ok I will overlook the typo here.

I just love Josh's style ... Read More
