I've read Laura's writing before and really enjoyed it but this book fell woefully short of 'good' in my opinion. The story was actually quite good, there were a lot of great elements to it and the writing was excellent....But I couldn't bring myself to like the main characters. Not even a little bit! Two stereotypes get it on: a huge, hairy, hunky, extroverted, alpha male construction company owner named Bram falls hard for a slight, pretty, feisty, introverted architect named James.

Rating: - Wonderful reading!
I wasn't sure what to expect, this being my first m/m book, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for something different, bought this and thought I'd regret the price I paid for it. No, no, no. I LOVED it! The story was well written (my book had a few errors here and there), and I actually cared about the characters. Bram had me laughing out loud at times! I plan on buying other books by this author and I'm looking forward to reading book 2. Keep up the good work Laura B, you're GOOD!!!
