Rating: - Good Editing!
Good choice of stories! My favs were A BLISTERED SUN, THE EYE, THE LAST CHRISTMAS and UNCLE CAESAR. Some will scare you and others make you cry..but are memorable! Read the editor's SHALL WE GATHER AT THE GARDEN?
Rating: - The Future of Horror
Kevin L. Donihe has his boney little fingers wrapped tightly around the pulse of the horror genre.
I've been reading these stories to the children in my special needs classes, and they seem to really be enjoying them (especially "Private Parts" and "The Sickness of Satan").
Keep it up Mr. Donihe!....for the children.
Rating: - horror on the edge
Bare Bone #4 is a fantastic read, from cover to cover. Editor Kevin Donihe knows how to mix a strange brew of cutting edge horrow with more subtle, creepy tales that leave you checking under your bed at night. I got an advance look at the "new look" and it's beautiful. Bare Bone is the breeding ground for tomorrow's best and brightest horror writers. I loved it.
Rating: - The Best New Horror Anthology

This is the first volume in the new bookshelf format; Issues #1-3 are currently sold out, and have garnered nothing but positive reviews from places like the Third Alternative. Do yourself a favor and grab this while you can. You won't be disappointed!
BARE BONE #4 also contains a story of my own called "A Blistered Sun" by Jeffrey A. Stadt. And don't forget to buy Kevin L. Donihe's ... Read More
