One simple reason, those that are 'successful' have found their SLIGHT EDGE! This book is not just another self-help, motivation tool of methods you must to learn in order to make it up the path of success. The Slight Edge simply shows you how to create powerful results from the simple daily activities of your life, by using tools that are already within you. And all you need to make that happen? Discover that 'one' thing that will help you achieve that goal, realize a life-long dream or propel you up the ladder to success. Once you got it, then you will discover how your philosophy... creates your attitude... creates your actions... creates your results... creates YOUR LIFE! Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Life changing
I listened to the audio version of this book first. After my first time, I wanted to understand every tiny part of it, so I listened to it several times in my car. Then, I wanted to highlight certain aspects of it, so I read the book so I could highlight information that was most important to me. I would have gained more from the others if I had read this one first (of course ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not Original, but Still Worth Reading for a New Perspective
I knew just from reading the title where this book was going to go... I am a fan and student of Anthony Robbins and this book contains not only a similar philosophy for maximizing ones potential in life, but also some of the EXACT psychological though processes and historical anecdotes Robbins uses in his teachings. Robbins even has popularized a term and named one of his courses as "Get the Edge..." I do not want to compare, but it is inevitable with such similarities. This book gets -5 stars ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - waste of time
I was curious and bought this book as read many good reviews. Read it and was quite disappointed. He is like a preacher, the same thing all the time through the whole book. To me it seems like it was written for idiots. Any normal person knows what he is writing about and there is no need to say the same thing over and over again. Too much about "how great I am". To me the book is too boring....
