Product Description:
With the cooperation of Henri Nouwen, Jurjen Beumer spent the last decade following him closely, researching and writing this incisive biography of one of the most renowned figures of our time. This seminal work traces the arc of Henri Nouwen's life from beginning to end, revealing a restless seeker who gradually became more at home with God than with himself.

So with minimal changes, including the addition of a final tribute by Jurjen J. Beumer to Nouwen, and an account of his final days, we have this first detailed `portrait' of Nouwen published within a year of his death.
