Rating: - Wonderful, Whimsical, and... Useful in an Unanticipated Way
I loved WIG when I first got it for my nephew, who was then three years old. I thought it was wonderful and whimsical and fabulously offbeat. He toted it around happily for a year, until it was largely shredded. When he outgrew it, I snatched it back for my own collection.

Rating: - Cute and Funny!
This is a great book for boys and girls AND adults! If youre a B-52's fan and you have a kid, you MUST get this book - its a real scream! The illustrations are TOO FUNNY!
Rating: - It's Wig-a-riffic!
My 2-year-old loves this book and can recite many of the pages from memory. I wonder if we're warping her little mind or if future pre-school teachers will wonder why "bouffant" is part of her vocabulary, but figure it will all turn out for the best.
Rating: - Incredibly fun and creative!
Levine's entertaining and quirky illustrations to the song "Wig!" by the B-52's are a perfect compliment. How else could a song that expresses so much pure fun translate into paper? Levine's book is surely a work of art. Especially if you don't have kids, you owe yourself this energetic spectacle for your library or coffee table. It's also a great gift for a B-52 fan.
Rating: - Our child loves it!
Our two year old loves Wig, he asks for it by name, often. It has no definite story line, so is readily adaptable, but has wild and distinguishing illustrations which has made it easy for him to learn. It is the first book in which he can tell the whole story, every page. Plus, it's way cool.
