Product Description:
In the human body, God created a perfect design, equipped with all the organs, tissues, and cells necessary for health, production, and reproduction. The problem, asserts Dr. Ben Lerner, is when we as humans interfere with God's design for our bodies. Junk food, high-stress living, and neglecting exercise are just a few of the things we do to hinder our bodies' performance.
In Body by God, Dr. Lerner offers a comprehensive plan for getting in touch with our bodies in four areas: nutrition, exercise, stress management, and time management. His '5-in-5' plan is designed to instill the good habits that will lead to optimum health benefits. Readers will learn how to get in shape with 10-minute workouts, reprogram the way they react to stress, and more. 'Owner's Manual Tips' give specific ways to apply the material to real life. Our bodies are 'fearfully and wonderfully made.' With the help of Body by God, readers will learn how to achieve the highest level of performance from God's handiwork.

Rating: - Transforming
Takes you to whole new level of health. Not a fad diet, actually helps you change yourself and your thinking!
Rating: - Inspirational, insightful but lacking
I have mixed feelings about this book. It motivates people to exercise yet lacks in functional application of exercise to teach the reader how to exercise. The euphemisms referring to God as the motivating factor for everything that a person choses to do are very misleading. The real motivating factor behind most of the examples given in this book is ego, not God. Ego is man made and is the culprit behind most of the insane things we do as human beings. A good case in point was the authors need ... Read More
Rating: - Excellent Information
This book has ALOT of great info in it. It really helps you develop a solid foundation for eating more healthy without starving yourself. Highly recommended.
Rating: - Probably not worth the money
I just received this book and am sending it back immediately. It was recommended by a co-worker. Some of the information is useful, however, much of it is nonsense. The information about calcium is completely wrong and there is very little, if any, reliable scientific evidence relating to food combinations that he talks about. What's really disturbing is that there are no credentials listed in this book for Mr. Lerner and then we find out he's a chiropractor and calls himself a a "nutritionist". ... Read More
Rating: - Not worth reading
This book is a little unabashed about using the "God" label to get you to purchase it. This author is a chiropractor, which by no means makes him a fitness or health expert. It offers little science-based advice. It is, however, a good example of how to use religion in an entrepreneurial venture to your advantage.
