Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Geared toward the nursing-pharmacology student audience and presented in a readable and clinically applicable style, the text implements a prototype approach and effective pedagogy. Chapters begin with objectives, feature critical thinking scenarios, and end with review questions. Color concept maps and drug summary tables enhance the text. Three additional features are 'Lifespan Alert' -- within 'Memory Chip'); 'Focus on Research'; and, a Web alert offering relevant links. Content includes strengthened drug coverage -- with Canadian drugs; increased physiology; and expanded pathophysiology. For more information, visit http://connection.LWW.com/go/aschenbrenner.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Well organized textbook

The amount of information contained in the book is overwhelming (due to the nature of the subject), but the easy to understand layout and consistent use of tables and figures make it much easier to digest. The explanations of how the drugs work are clearly written. ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Drug Therapy in Nursing
This book is great for Pharmacology in Nursing. I learn more from this book than I do than any other Pharmacology Nursing book there is out there. Dianne makes it so easy to learn Pharmacology and want to learn and in a way you remember it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Workbook is very helpful accompaniment to book.
This workbook was very helpful while taking Pharmacology. It is a great review for each chapter.
