In all my years of reading parenting books I have never seen a book miss its mark by so far. The authors have no grasp on what really motivates good behavior in kids...teaching them to do the right thing, nurturing a conscience and helping them strengthen their capacity for self control....the struggles working parents may have disciplining their kids is only related to their knowledge about good parenting and has little to do with working! I think this book is excellent. It brought up a lot of new ideas that I have never come across in other child-rearing books or articles. There are many ideas regarding ways of thinking, and practical suggestions, for making the child's and parent's lives calmer and happier.
