This book is very well written and realistic. Most people think that when an individual who's a Christian will take that standpoint throughout their material. Even though Bishop Jakes uses biblical scripture, it is used to aid in illustrating his points and it is not "bible" driven. He uses here and now terms, situations, resolutions and this book is WELL worth having. I used it as part of my proposal to my fiancé and this being my first marriage; it's been more than insightful. Haven't completed the whole book, but from what I have read it definetely makes me think of my life and the decisions I want to make going forward, but realizing what has to be changed within in myself and my surroundings.
Rating:  - Before You Do
Before you do, is a good title for my review. I saw this book promoted on the television and was eager to read it. My eagerness began to recede as I did read it though.
The ideas presented on good decision making are very sound from a human perspective. But, from a spiritual perspective, they are lacking.
Good decisions should come from seeking God's will and applying His written Word to life. This is the basis for a believer. That is not what the book builds upon.

Bishop is back. This book returns to the engaging, yet informative style of Bishop Jakes' early books ie. Woman thou art Loosed, 10 Commandments....
