An incredible collection spanning a wide variety of musical styles and emotions, all based around love and loss. The songs range from hysterically funny (Passover, My Dogs) to incredibly intimate and heartfelt (Anytime, Saying My Goodbyes). The piano reductions in the book have been rhythmically simplified from what is played on the soundtrack, but the chords are very specific and what is there is very good for the average player. Some of William Finn's best work!
