Product Description:
Yucky music, great big feet.

Ladies smelling way too sweet.

Look at knees and stand in line.

Llama Llama starts to whine.

Does any child like to go shopping? Not Llama Llama! But Mama can’t leave Llama at home, so off they go to Shop-O-Rama. Lots of aisles. Long lines. Mama is too busy to notice that Llama Llama is getting m-a-d! And before he knows it, he’s having a full-out tantrum! Mama quickly calms him down, but she also realizes that they need to make shopping more fun for both of them. Parents and children are sure to recognize themselves in this fun-to-read follow-up to the popular Llama Llama Red Pajama.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Mad at Mama - a new classic that can be read over and over.
Mad at Mama is fun, well illustrated and the rhyming copy is well received by small children. A great book that holds up well to repetitive reading.

We got this book from the library and decided to purchase it and others by the author because my 3 year old daughter took to this book like no other before. She looks at it and "reads" it to herself, and asks us to read it several times a day. Also, she talks about the characters, and relates to them. It's amazing! The rhyme is very Dr. Seussish so it reads musically. Great book for discussing emotions, and choices and 2nd chances! I can't wait to read the others by this author! Even my 5 ... Read More

Llama llama, no different from other kids his age, would rather continue playing than head off with Mama to the Shop-O-Rama. Mama probably feels much the same way, but the weekly groceries and errands need to get done. Llama llama grows progressively more agitated during the shopping expedition, resulting in a tantrum that sends the shopping cart contents scattering throughout the aisle. Clever mama finds a way to calm her son and finish buying what they need at the supermarket. The book, with ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Llama Mad at Mama
As an educator I liked the way this book rhymes since it is a neat way for children to pick up on the different sounds that words make. I was a little disappointed with the items being thrown out of the buggy. I thought that was a little extreme and might possibly give little minds bad ideas. Also, the story was drawn out a bit and got a little boring. The first Llama book was excellent so I was expecting the same from this one. I am still glad I purchased it though and will use the negative parts ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - It Will Make You Laugh
Every Mom knows how frustrating shopping can be with little ones. Llama Llama mad at Mama tells the shopping experience from a child's point of view, which is no picnic for them either.

In a rhyming story, the tale is told about a Mama that takes her little llama Shopping who would rather stay home and play. I found myself laughing out loud at the little llama's whining.

Great story and one that anyone can relate to, that has ever had to take her little ones shopping. Enjoyable, ... Read More
