American Government and Politics Today explains the entire process of government from it's earliest roots to modern day times. It explains why and what an electoral college is. It has clear cut definitions on the sides of the pages making vocabulary work extremely easy. It has interesting tidbits about the history of politics, lobbyists, and the two party system.
